Just hope they don't rue not playing a spinner

Basically we are playing 5 pacemen if you include the luckiest cricketer in Aust Cameron Green

On X is said Nesser and Richardson were marking their run ups, so look like they are playing

Lucky if this test is another that lasts 3 days lol.

Aussies struggled to 152 on this greenish pitch. But thankfully England are now 8/88 after Boland just ripped through their middle order. Starc and Neser toppled the top order.

England 110 all out .... Neser 4/45, Boland 3/30, Starc 2/23, Green 1/0, Richardson 0/8.

Aussies openers have to get through one over before stumps.

Scotty Boland survived all 6 deliveries as the nightwatchman. Dropped in the slips and then hit a four with the last ball .

Aussies 0/4 at stumps.

Aussies lead by 46 runs.

First time since 1951 that 20 wickets have fallen on the first day in Australia. First time in Melbourne since 1901.

Record cricket crowd at the 'G of 94,199.

Amazing crowd

As for the “dropped catch”, I didn’t think it carried?
