Our future first for Green.
2nd rounder to Dogs for their future first.
Cerra for Cats first and player.
2nd and 3rd for Dogs first this year.

Green, Cerra, three firsts this year and a third.
Still have a first next year.
Can you come up with an option that does not include Cerra?
And you may not think I care for you
When you know down inside that I really do

Gerard Healy has cautioned out-of-contract young gun Adam Cerra against departing the rising Fremantle Dockers.

Cerra is currently weighing up his future with a four-year deal worth around $750,000 a season on the table from the Dockers as several Victorian rivals including the Blues, Tigers and Hawks look to lure him home.

It comes during a career-best season for the 21-year old – averaging career highs across the board in disposals (23.1), marks (5.2), inside 50s (4.8) and clearances (3.4).

Speaking on Fox Footy’s On The Couch, Healy was bullish about Fremantle’s future, calling for Cerra to think twice about leaving the club.

“Message for you Adam Cerra: Look before you leap,” Healy said.

“There is something building over there at the Fremantle Dockers and we all want to be part of an uprising that goes on and wins a flag.

“If you have to go you have to go, but gee, you’d be leaving a big opportunity.”

I just hope we hit the draft with our hand we need some youth. Ok if the right player comes along for the right price.

Tom Morris on Fox Footy:

“West Coast, Geelong and Richmond – this is obvious. These clubs are towards the top of the tree and have been in the last couple of years and have re-signed a lot of players and got a lot of talent on their list. They can’t be too active in terms of bringing talented players to the club and will have to be smart in the way they go about it.

Callum Twomey & Mitch Cleary talking about Cerra.

https://www.afl.com.au/video/659159/cerra-s-wait-giant-talks-go-quiet-young-swan-on-clubs-radar

- Don't believe Cerra has made a decision yet. Clubs don't know yet what he is doing. But the view is he is leaving Freo.
- Best financial offer may be Freo's.
- Given he was drafted at pick 5, he is worth at least one possibly two first round picks.
- Front of the queue is Carlton and Richmond.
- North & Hawthorn would be interested also but hard to see them giving up their respective early first round pick.
- Carlton may be reluctant to trade their first round pick after trading a first rounder for Saad last year. There's also the question of salary cap. That goes for all the clubs. Who has got the money?
- Richmond has shot into the equation for Cerra given their trade last year with Geelong which has given the Tigers two first rounders.
