Was probably the best 1v1 defender at one point. Haven't seen him play this year but we could certainly do worse unless he's become slower than Astbury

See the Crows won't be re-signing Talia

Any interest in him just as a back up key defender?

Yes I've said this elsewhere. Crouch too, apparently also going cheap.

Talia if fit would be great as a replacement for Astbury if we could get 2 years out of him. Just need Miller to come on or find another KPD.

I'd be happy with Talia

But a no to Crouch... too many dinky little chip kicks ... not sure it fits in with our game style

Not sure about recruiting a 30 year old who's just missed an entire season though I think the real question is; would he want to sing our song? :shh

Dunstan a far better option than Crouch if we're going to go down that road... :shh :shh

I like Crouch as he is an extractor that could take the pressure off Cotch, I’m not sure how defensive he is but I suspect he might not give us value ( money ball) that we are after

If we can land a younger gun mid like Taranto then I’d be happy to get Tom Mitchell too and have another real crack at a flag next year.

A couple more quality mids would make a huge difference.

Willy, nice thought, but I get the feeling we are in for a long haul now. Hope I’m wrong.

Ok so pass on Dunstan after today.....might win the odd clearance but won't solve our forward entry issues....makes Parker & Pickett look like Buckley & D.Jarman.... :help

LOL - Claimed Cerra was a lock to us the other week and Carlscum had been told no.  Couldn't have been further from reality.

Matthew Lloyd has named eight players who should consider moving on from their current clubs for greater opportunity.

Mabior Chol (Richmond)

“There’s no room for Tom Lynch, Toby Nankervis, Jack Riewoldt, Callum Coleman-Jones … so this man, Mabior Chol, I think Richmond has shown their hand that Coleman-Jones is their man.”

“I think (Chol) is more of a ruckman. I’d say $350,000, you’d get him cheap. He’s not getting a game.”

Charlie Constable (Geelong)
Tom Lynch (Adelaide)
Mitch Wallis (Western Bulldogs)
Pat Lipinski (Western Bulldogs)
Ed Richards (Western Bulldogs)
Quinton Narkle (Geelong)
Sam Weideman (Melbourne)

... Richmond (following David Astbury’s retirement) are others that may look at Daniel Talia, but he’d likely only be a depth player at those clubs with no guarantees on game time given their current key defensive personnel.
