Could Carlton miss out on Adam Cerra? He's in no rush to announce his plans and another club is in the picture, reports
@RalphyHeraldSun.

"Cerra to the Tigers?

They are still well and truly in the premiership window and he would step straight in as a long term midfielder who compliments their existing setup. Who says no?

Tigers get Cerra and Pick 27.

Freo get Pick 7, 15 and 44."

"take this with a grain of salt and i have no idea about the credibility but thought i would post it anyway

Mate is a carlton supporter and he has a client thats on the GC (GC supporter)
Thinks Cj is just about a done deal and the suns are confident.
apparently played alot of junior footy with the suns SA kids that he is close to.

i think he stays otherwise would have known already but this latest "news" my mate told me got me thinking. Im sure it would be more about the length and $$$ and not just the players at the suns"

How about GAGF'd.  We don't need a soft outside front runner for any pick let alone that lot

On pure point value that Values Cerra @ pick 3 value. No value to us

Pick 7 alone or 15 and 44 (values Cerra @ pick 9)

Rather go to the draft especially if we are over paying on contract dollars

Agree, go to the draft unless we pick him up for a good price.

Summary from last night's Tiger71 podcast:

- We're not giving up pick 7 as we have a young gun midfielder in mind that we want with that pick. It's a midfield draft and we want to fix our midfield with this draft.

- We're going to try to bundle our later picks to move up the draft trying to get another high-ish pick.

- Still in the play with Cerra and he still hasn't nominated a club yet. It's 50/50. We're just not giving up pick 7 for him. We're willing to part with our Geelong pick #15 or a future first. Melbourne are no chance. T71 thinks Cerra will go to Carlton although they are in a state (no coach, off-field shambles). His mate though is still bullish.

- CCJ a lock to Gold Coast. We will get a reasonably high pick or a player in return. Not Ainsworth or Brodie so don't worry.

- Chol is a funny one. Players want him to stay. But we'll give him our blessing to go. Thinks Mabs to Essendon.

- Wallis still in play.

- Narkle 100% is coming. For one of our third rounders.

- No truth in the Tarrant & Rayner rumours.

- Heard nothing about Talia. If we wanted an old key defender we would've kept Astbury for one more year.

- Tom Green more likely next year.

- Wouldn't be surprised if Pickett ends up back in WA.

- Parker coming back after the WAFL finals and will be with us again next year.

- Caddy staying. Not being traded on.

Hamish Hartlett says he will look at his options after he was told by Port Adelaide that he would not be offered a new contract.

Personally don't rate him at all...regarded as some kind of guru by the most of Big Footy's Richmond board but the only "scoops" he does get right are usually common knowledge already....comes across to me as a bit of a fast talking b.s. artist on the podcast... :shh

Sam Edmund on SEN:

Daniel Talia (Adelaide)

“I think there’s a pretty good chance that he becomes a Richmond player as a delisted free agent, I think he can play for another two to three years.”

“We know he had some bad luck with injury this year, he didn’t attend the Crows best and fairest, he does have a point to prove at 29, he’d be joining for nothing in a trade sense.

“We know that David Astbury and Bachar Houli are not playing so they’ve lost some experience in the back half and I think he’d compliment Noah Balta perfectly.”

Quinton Narkle (Geelong)

“Richmond’s the one that comes up every time, he’s really good mates with Shai Bolton, they’ve got the same manager so there’s a conduit there, I’m not sure rival clubs are banging the door on, there are some queries on a few things but he might make sense at Richmond for all the reasons we mentioned.”
