Blight might get a game at Collingwood. A top4 team.

Would Ross?

Ones a midfielder in a league with lots of midfielders and one is a key defender in a league with not so many key defenders.. good argument

Considering who coachs Collingwood and who the list manager is, I'd say yep  ;D

Blight is too slow for the AFL. Looks great playing loose at VFL.

We have better options in this possie.

Let’s not pretend he is alex rance.

That was the point.

The initial assessment was a bit harsh in blight.

"Ross is miles ahead of Blight."

He is. Way ahead of him. Doesn’t make Ross a champion. Just contrasts with how far Blight is off it.
"The money might have been better. But, at the end of the day, Richmond showed faith in me. It's only fair that now we're 18th on the ladder, I show the faith back in the club and do everything I can to put them in front. In the end, I'm stoked I made the decision to stay. I f***ing love this club”

Ross is a good player not a champion, never will be. Blight is an ok player who may become a good one.

Agree on Ross, Blight is tad over a year younger. I am happy to be proven wrong but very much doubt it

Collingwood met with former Richmond tall Jacob Blight today.

The 23-year-old played 10 games for the Tigers before being delisted a month ago.

This is annoying, bad list management imho. We could have kept him , or traded him . Now he goes to another club for nothing. It may be the case for Kosi too. Why  let them go without trying to get a very late pick back as we need the points for Kellaway.

I’m lot seeing what all the fuss is about? We have delisted a guy who couldn’t even crack into our best 22 during an injury plagued season, it’s not as if going to go to another club and dominate either.
Even as back up, I’d rather take a look at something else…

When a key position player can't get a game in a team that's being smashed by injuries there has to be something wrong.  The club do know what the problem is & they are happy to let him go for nothing, that would be his worth then - nothing.  What was obvious is that 'the boy can play', yet there is a problem big enough to just let him go ...    :-\
