We were 3-0 can't recall anyone suggesting that it was a bad choice to give Cotchin the captaincy back then. 3 weeks after were very poor. Storm in a tea cup for mine.

Can't remember any suck Hardwick calls at that stage either

TRENT COTCHIN: 5 MINUTES ON THE CAYDON COUCH
May 15th, 2013 — by Caydon

As a Melbourne apartment developer we love football like most other Melbournians. As proud supporters of the Richmond Football Club we recently caught up with some of the players and the coach to get a sneak peek into the home life of an AFL star.

Who do you live with?
My fiancé and 2 beautiful Samoyeds.

What can’t you live without?
An extremely comfy couch.

What’s your furniture style?
French provincial.

If you could live anywhere in the world, where would you live?
Love Bali 6 months of the year.

What is your definition of luxury living?
To be comfortable, warm and cosy but with plenty of space.
Stylish but not over the top.
Not having to stress about unnecessary things in life.

They forgot to ask...

Are you a folder or a scruncher?

Do you wank with the left or the right hand?

Cotch was just on 3aw with Richo, Tim Lane, Caro and Mark Stevens ...

* Relatively happy with our past two weeks. Not only offence but defensively we have kept opposition to low scores which is something we have been working on.

* We were able to regain the momentum yesterday when the opposition kicked a couple and then kick away.

* Our current group have gone through a bit together over the past 4 years when we were down. We now know what is expected from coaching staff, supporters and more importantly ourselves. Continue to raise the bar in terms of pressure, contested footy and winning the footy. Take that forward and we'll win more than we won't.

* Cotch said the stats say his kicking efficiency is down but his footy is very contested. Challenge to play more outside. He thinks he is a good kick. Nice to kick a goal. Got to push forward too and kick goals as Dusty and Ellis did. There's always areas to improve on.

* Two year contract - feels it's good to put pressure on yourself and stay hungry. Hopes to take his footy to the next level and take it from there. Who knows I might be in a position to sign a long-term deal.

* Chappy has added another experienced tall to a defensive group that has been together for a while now. They are good one-on-one, peeling off to help each other and rebounding and setting up attacks for us. Credit to the guys for standing up.

* You can't beat winning. Footy is a hard game mentally and physically whether you're winning or losing. Coming off the ground after a good win is a great feeling.

* Impressed by the former players at the Hall of Fame still having the passion for the club and for the current team to do well.

You won't see our captain with neck tattoos, a sleeve or any tattoo for that matter anytime soon. He's not a fan.
