Cotchin has weaknesses like every AFL player, admitting he doesn’t booze on or socialise with teammates like the leaders of past decades.

He ain't THAT good.

Trent Cotchin's leadership deserves recognition

Dustin Martin was Richmond's match-winner against Gold Coast, but the skipper was right there with him and couldn't have done more in the crucial fourth quarter. Cotchin, who didn't train during the week and spent a day in hospital with a virus, racked up 12 possessions and four inside 50s in the last term and got to both ends of the ground when his team needed him. He finished with 28 touches and a team-high seven tackles and was all heart with his team's season on the line. Cotchin's suitability to captain the Tigers has been debated after losses this season. His resilience to keep performing under that external pressure, and ability to push through injuries, deserve equal recognition.

As far as I know Cotchin has never professed to be Christian.
Is Gary Ablett Jnr a sissy? What about Miles?

Are only Muhammadians tough? Why don't you ask Houli? Or won't you criticise Islam because it's not PC?   :rollin

More players need to man up & lift their work rate during games like Cotchin & Martin. Some players are only giving 40% its a pathetic effort

precious?
Cotchin Is a JW, one of the few denominations that aren't afraid to refer to Yahweh/Jehovah by her real name.

There has also been much poo hung on Houli and islam here, including from yourself, so dont be so precious about a little bit of equality......
“For My thoughts are not your thoughts,
Nor are your ways my ways,” says the Lord.

“For as the heavens are higher than the earth,
So are my ways higher than your ways,
And my thoughts than your thoughts."

Equality? Hilarious. You might want to take that one up with the mods.

Since when was Cotchin a JW?
