Hutchy claiming tonight out of contract Jarrad Brennan wants $2m over 3 years from Brisbane. Shows what Gold Coast is offering.

Rischitelli also may leave the Lions but only one per club can be poached by GC so Rischitelli to head back to Victoria.

Harbrow offered a 4-5 year deal from Gold Coast so almost certain to leave the Dogs.

That rumour has been doing the rounds for a while Jack. I can't see Pav moving this late in his career unless it was to a club going for the flag.

The Gold Coast's highest-paid player will be Geelong's Gary Ablett Jr but they have extra cash available to woo Brennan after missing out on their other high-profile target, Fremantle captain Matthew Pavlich.

It is believed Pavlich is close to signing a new three-year deal worth close to $1 million a season under which he would finish his career at the Dockers.

The star forward recently signed a two-year deal worth more than $100,000 a year to be the face of a West Australian finance brokerage company.

He is also part-owner of a trendy Perth hotel and is engaged to a WA girl.

Campbell Brown claimed tonight he is still yet to make a decision about the Gold Coast. Hardly good news for Hawthorn. Sounds like he is heading north.

What has Brennan done to warrant $2m over 3?

Lazy and undisciplined, I wouldn't have him in the best dozen players at the Lions.

Agree Jake. I guess the $$$ attempts to make out he is better than he is. Also GC have $$$ to burn and are desperate for ready-made players to take most of the workload off all their new draftees.

I personally think Campbell Brown would be a great player to have at the GC give them a tough bodied player.

DEFENDERS Nathan Bock and Nathan Krakouer have been confirmed as new club Gold Coast's first signings.

There has been speculation all season that several players had already agreed to join the Suns during a brief window of opportunity at the end of the 2009 season, but League rules had prevented the club from revealing their identities.

Bock had already announced his intentions to pursue a deal with Gold Coast and was stood down from playing with Adelaide after round 20.

Krakouer declared he wanted to leave Port Adelaide and seek a deal with one of the WA clubs or Gold Coast.

As part of its start-up concessions, Gold Coast is permitted to sign up to 16 uncontracted players - one from each existing AFL club.
