Melbourne, R22, 2008.
It's that simple Spud
"I discussed (it) with my three daughters, my wife and my 82-year-old mum, because it has really affected me … If those comments … were made about one of my daughters, it would make the hairs on the back of my neck stand up. I would not have liked it at all.”

Goals: Brown 3, Schulz 2, Morton 2, Cousins, Moore, Riewoldt, Bowden, Tuck

25 scoring shots to 15 , we must have had a heap more I50s ..fairly convincing effort by the sounds of it :thumbsup

Melbourne, R22, 2008.

Teams that are more competitive than the Dees were last year.

Anyway glad we won the result was kind of academic to me once I heard
Axel's ankle was in ice as there are definentely bigger fish to fry.
I just hope he is okay and he won't be missing any football just like all
of us are hoping. :pray

I know he kicked three goals, but how did Brown go all up for anyone who was there?

Julz said we were very fumbly. It was slippery conditions all night. Just started raining when the final siren went.

best: browny
rance good in last
richo typical richo. Took some great marks, missed a sitter, gave away a couple of frees.
tambo couldn't tackle.
foley didn't come back on.

Big Richmond crowd and a great atmosphere.

Yep. From what smokey was saying we dominated the first 3 quarters but didn't make the most of it on the scoreboard. Brisbane came back in the last but when you look at it we still have the same number of scoring shots in the quarter. More set shot goalkicking practice needed by the sound it.

Browny was great.  Took a screamer which would have been perfect if he kept a hold on the ball.  Cousins showed everyone that all he's lacking is match fitness.  Silky skills.  Hubby reckonds Cuz is still settling into the Richmond side.  You got the impression he was trying to hide in the background during the warm-up.  Everyone had the fumbles but hubby reckons it was cause it was slippery out there.  Last quarter saw Bradshaw all alone in the goal square with 3 Richmond opponents.  Must clarify - when I said Richo gave some goals away, I meant instead of kicking them himself he passed them onto Browny or someone else (Riewoldt?) but they didn't result in goals for Richmond.  Didn't see a lot of Browne.  Angus Graham shows that he is lacking experience (where's Patto these days?).  Raines did some good and some bad things.  Crowd roared every time Richo marked the ball.  Foley never came back on the ground.  Sanchez was ok.  Tambling needs to make his tackles stick and not give up so easily when chasing his opponent.
