Neither do I but let's move onto the fact he's cemented his place for another game next week.  :thumbsup

Jack has to stay in the senior side, done as much learning as he possibly can at the burgers.

Need to fast-track his progress into superstardum at AFL level  ;D

Jack's a bit stiff that his mark didn't make the final 3 of the AFL site's mark of the week  ???

Agree with the above comments. Just play Jack for the rest of the year and don't change his game.

with 6 rounds to go, if Jack can post another 12 or so goals it would be a a good first year for the young fella

I'd like to see him get a bit of attitude in him. He'll get nowhere being polite. Like when Richo told him off for taking a speccy in the last quarter against Port, I would've loved to see Jack turn around and tell him that he is as entitled to the ball as Richo is.....or something like that.

He's already very loud and proud ;D

What's the cut off age for the Rising Star award?

Jack is young enough, even if he plays the rest of the year he is under the limit of 10 AFL games (will finish on 9 games IIRC assuming he plays out the season), so is still eligible next year.

As you can tell, Jack has his name engraved on the 08 Rising Star Award already  ;D

Has Edwards been nominated yet?  Would surprise me if he hasn't.  He's an absolute beauty!  He's only played 10 games but I have him pegged right up there with Lids & Polo.

“He’s my hero,” Riewoldt said. “He’s one of the main blokes I look up to at the club, and I can’t speak highly enough of his endeavour and the way he holds the Richmond Football Club in his heart. Hopefully one day I can have same sort of impact.”

lol - that just reminded me,how young the kid is !!!

It's endearing to see.....i just hope he doesn't kick like his hero
