Has anyone ever done a statistical analysis of the tribunal vs public opinion?  I would not be surprised if you took 1000 public opinions at random of each event as the control then the tribunal over history would exhibit almost random behavior.

This is an absolute miscarriage of justice. He is innocent  of all charges , it was a head clash FFS :banghead

He is being penalised for an unintended consequence of his actions. In my opinion the bump was lawful therefore it appears what has got him into trouble was the accidental head clash. It appears to me that the system is geared towards looking at the consequences of actions rather than the actions themselves. Hence Jamieson received a concussion Vickery must be found guilty of something.

Richards missed a game because of concussion and Schulz got off.

I thought the MRP was fixed?

Nothing else other than the actual incident should be taken into consideration regarding these cases. Unfortunately this has not been the case, as said on SEN this morning the tribunal has wanted to remind Vickery that they are watching him. FFS, really, that is crap, why the hell aren't they watching Buddy and half the offenders in the game. The decision was crap.

If it's all about impact (and resulting injury), I say bring on the open hand slap to the face. All 22 of our players to slap the opposition player for every remaining game of the year

If the ball hadn't been 40 metres away he probably would've got off....

Half these players wouldn't even be cited if the media and the tv broadcasters in particular didn't keep making an issue of every stuffing incident with endless replays and hypotheticals of what should/will happen before the match is even over or anyone's even been charged....
