It's like another atom bomb hitting the country.

Hopefully the nuclear fall out won't affect generations of Japanese as it did post 1945.

Japan declares Nuclear emergency

THE Japanese Government has declared an atomic emergency and told thousands of residents living near a nuclear plant in stuffushima to evacuate, warning a small amount of radiation could be released.

The amount of radiation has reached about 1000 times the normal level in the control room of the No. 1 reactor of the stuffushima No. 1 nuclear power plant, the Nuclear and Industrial Safety Agency said.

The discovery suggests radioactive steam could spread around the facility operated by Tokyo Electric Power Co.
