I hope the suspension is not being served in the pre season comp but in next years Home and Away season. Low act to be honest.
I could be wrong but didn't they change the rule so carry-over suspensions have to served in the H/A season?

Judd will miss round 1 against us if we keep the season opener.

Apparently you can only serve time in the pre season if you commit the offence in the pre season.

Pretty sure they've stopped it to prevent players pulling an Alistair Lynch and losing the plot in the GF only to serve time in the Nab Cup.
Ta daniel. That's how roughly I understood it. Not just for GFs where there's extra weighting added to any suspension but as you say to stop players using the preseason comp the following year to serve out their sentence.

Carlton are trying to downgrade the charge from low impact to insufficient.

Judd has told the tribunal he wasn't going for a pressure point and his interview at the airport where he said he was was just an attempt to make light of the whole situation  :whistle.

Judd found GUILTY!
and misses the first 3 rounds of next season  :thumbsup

Serves him right for being dopey and contesting it and then trying to make out he was 'under the weather' when he spoke to the press about pressure points  :wallywink.

Because he had only had half an hours sleep before boarding his flight

Pluhzeeeeeeee give me a break

Got what you deserved Judd for being:

1/ an idiot
2/ trying to be funny when you are clearly not
3/ what one can only describe as a hypocrite - takes the high moral ground when he wants to and then pulls a stunt like this and thinks he should be excused for it.
4/ being an IDIOT

CARLTON has announced it will appeal captain Chris Judd's three-week suspension for misconduct in making unnecessary contact to the face of Brisbane Lion Michael Rischitelli.

The appeals board will hear the case at 5.30pm on Thursday evening.

The Blues have appealed on the basis that the decision was so unreasonable that no Tribunal acting reasonably could have come to that decision having regard to the evidence before it, the classification of the offence was manifestly excessive and the sanction imposed was manifestly excessive.

Judd still thinks it's all a joke. Saying he learnt about pressure points from Steven Segal movies when interviewed after the hearing tonight  :wallywink.
