for the first time I think we can pass last seasons total which is incredible when you think about it and has proven me wrong. If we can come out and beat the blues we'll beat last seasons tally as I recall memberships almost coming to a standstill after last seasons round 1 debacle?

You just have to be positive and things will come good 
Beat the Blues and we'll have 40,000 members heading into the Round 2 game against the Dogs. Hopefully we compete well against the Dogs and Swans too. Even if we don't win but put up competitive efforts I'll be happy although we always want wins. Then we can come out and bash the injury depleted demons and hit 45,000 members by Round 5 

Gotta give it to ya though, I've had a go at you a fair few times in the past but you've shut my mouth right up with this one  36k - should hit 39k by cob thursday and if we win add another 2-3k in the log week till round 2.

We should be close to 37k by Thursday night. Not too bad considering where we are at plus no Richo and no hype over Cuz this time around. A fair few of our supporters sign up at our first home game so hopefully if we get a surprise win we can be pushing past 40k by round 2. We'll need to get as many by then given we're playing the Doggies after the Blues .

all things considered it's actually a pretty amazing membership number we have at the moment.

Richmond's terrible season last year, which produced just five wins, has not led to the dramatic fall it could have on ticketed membership, with the Tigers poised to break 30,000 this week.

How sweet it is!

I have a mouthy bulldogs supporting workmate and I told him our membership figures, and he said 'go look up the dogs'.

So we did, and he was quite filthy that despite our lack of success, we're smashing them in membership numbers.
