Was only half paying attention. Something about he needs to understand he is already on an inflated salary, and rival offers aren't much more than what we're offering or something. On 500k and wanted 650. Has pulled back to 600 but we're only offering 510-525. Barrett reckons he will stay.

Barrett on the Footy Show tonight:

* Dusty is currently on $500k p.a. thanks to signing around the time GWS were wanting to poach players.

* Dusty has reduced his initial request of $650k down to $600k.

* The club is offering $510k-520k and that is the going rate in the market. There are no higher offers.

* Barrett reckons Dusty will stay but Dusty's got to get his head around he's not going to get much more than he is on now.
