Will be top 2 in the rising star this year as a minimum.

So was Andrew Raines !!!,

Great first up game by Slim though

I think the diffence between Raines and Martin are quite apparent. Raines is not in the same ball park. Raines is a one trick pony and was horribly exposed post that one good year he had. Martin showed last night he has many strings to his bow.

Everyone loves Dusty.....

[Comment From RooRoo: ]  Thoughts on dustin martin in the midfield??

[ Wayne Schwass: ] He is an absolute gone (sic. gun). He will definitely be in my (dream) team. He has a mature body, will play a lot of footy and he knows how to find it.

Any more where Dusty comes from?! Fantastic game against a side that prides itself on contested footy. Won the ball, won the clearances and a Tiger who can actual kick well.

The only negative is the poor kid will cop a heavy tag even before he reaches 10 games.

Agree and I said in another thread we need to protect him by playing him towards say 11  games this season 14 at a maximum. lets not stuff up the kids development.

Most of the players he embarasses will be playing suburban footy next year.

Mind you lets not forget that 3 or 4 of his kicks last night missed the target by a long way, so its no all good nevertheless he shows some outstanding ability.

I think him and the other recruits are still trying to come to terms with the pace of the game. He also missed a few goals, but I hope he keeps trying to kick those 60 m goals. He has the skills to pull it off. How good was that 60 m pass to Jack?
