Agree with Go Richo here. Fancy Port asking him if he was dumb. They must have really done their research!!!
I think we know why Sydney offered two later 1st round draft picks for no3. They wanted this kid.

Nor are your ways my ways,” says the Lord.

So are my ways higher than your ways,

Read a HUN report and you get a cheeseburger, read an Age report and you get the fries on the side too  ;D

I'm now much more comfortable with the lad having a few important gaps now filled  :thumbsup

This kids has so much self confidence that it marks him as a champion before he even begins. Some would say he is arrogant but he just strongly believes in his own ability and knows exactly where he wants to go.

The more I hear of this kid the more he impresses me but hope and expectation is far from reality I have come to learn over the past few years. I just hope Cotchin can play an injury free season to support this young kid and stop teasing us with glimpses of form and promise.

Do like this kids though...

It's good that he believes in himself but the hard work will only truly begin after he is drafted. I won't be complaining if he ends up like a Lenny Hayes though.

I wouldn't complain if Trengove slipped to 3 but Melbourne didn't speak to Martin according to that Age article.

They might have spoken to him recently, maybe not at the camp but after, I wouldn't mind Trengove either as he was my first selection out of him and Scully.

I will be disappointed if we don't get Martin, purely because I want to him play a heap of games next year, but long term scully and trengrove have more upside! I'm sure Melbourne won't overlook that fact. Having said that if we were in melbournes position I would take Martin and one of the other two as he suits our needs!

Martin is going to be a big lad judging by his picture and size already. He still has alot of filling out to do and, with his strength and style of play, will hurt a lot of opposition midfielders with his ferocity.
