i wouldnt say we paid through the nose , if media reports were correct he would be on 400k or so in 3Yr of contract, all things being equal his stadning in the club would dictate that value in any case...

Walls gave Martin kick of the week on One Week At A Time tonight for his perfectly weighted long kick on the run from the Southern stand wing which was deliberately off the outside of his right foot so it went back inside to Jack's advantage inside 50.

Playing far better than another famous #3 draft pick at the same stage of his career

Kicking multiple goals simply outstanding. Getting the footy lots. If he could just eradicate the 10% of his kicks that he shanks from time to time then he'd be unstoppable.

Could end up the player of the 2009 draft. Reminded me a little of another famous No 4, Royce Hart, when he was playing around CHF today. Maybe not quite as flashy but the kid has presence, strength and is a natural footballer.

Incredible game from a 19 yo kid who plays the game hard - not because of where his from but who he is. Full of crap? You are trademark fool.
“I find it nearly impossible to make those judgments, but he is certainly up there with the really important ones, he is certainly up there with the Francis Bourkes and the Royce Harts and the Kevin Bartlett and the Kevin Sheedys, there is no doubt about that,” Balme said.

Love how he looks at forward line / full forward. Like a bull.

His forward pressure is brilliant.
