Great to see the big fella back at the ME Bank Centre before the rest of the boys next week

https://twitter.com/Richmond_FC/media

 :thumbsup

.

Good rig.
Been running heaps by the look of him.
Less weights.
Still strong as stuff but leaner.
Better.
Seen him a few times around the tan this summer, not with the team by the way 'doing the hard yards'  :thumbsup

Yep. I was driving up Punt Rd the Sunday of the Australia day weekend and I saw him kicking a footy around on his own  :thumbsup

That's what it's all about.

Love this boy.

Adoption in order

Was discussing Dusty's don't argue yesterday and I can't work out why it's not taught a lot more as a genuine skill in the game, just like long handballs, the drop punt and banana kicks have evolved from one man party tricks into bona fide skills.  Done properly it makes it so much harder for a chaser to tackle you and gives you breathing space to dispose of the ball more effectively.

U can't teach it to that level.

I'd expect he was doing this naturally at age 5.

It is a stock standard rugby fend off.  If you have played rugby you would of been taught this to break through tacklers.  Not sure why people think it is something unique.

Easily best on ground for mine, What did people think of Dusty's game of half back. ?

Great game yesterday.

Some of his field kicking was sublime

Some? Nearly all.  ;D

He spent most of his time across half half back and was clearly the go to or release player so I'm not sure where the notion he played mainly on ball comes from.? The amount of times his kicking created an instant transition from defense to attack is exactly what you want across half back.

The other thing i liked was his tackling. It had intensity, as if he actually wanted to tackle rather than just doing it because he knew it was required of him.

I missed the part where he was supposedly in th BP did he just follow his player down there?

We have a player who has shown he can dominate a game in the middle, across half back and up forward. Thats a pretty handy package.

Pretty good, what time he actually spent there, but we all knew he could play through the middle.

What did you think of his work across half back?

Agree, his tackle on Matt White, after Matty tried the "don't argue" on him was a ripper
