Jack...if DH has no game plan...would you prefer Wallace and his game plan instead...or Jade Rawling's one?

Would of thought that if either Rawlings or Wallace coached us on Sunday.
We would of got beat by 10 goals.
Reason, we didnt have one spare player back at any time.
Wallace and Rawlings would of had one spare player or even two in D 50 at all times
Hardwick didnt so we got smashed.
My thoughts on Sunday it that it was a training drill for Geelong.
Richmond WERE NOT strategic at all.
So your strategy is to simply minimise the losing score?
I have absolutely no problem with Hardwick making his young players take the on the cats at their merits.
Of course they are going to get smashed, but it shows them the level they need to get to to be the best, they also see first hand what works when they do things properly against the best in the business.
I swear you just make things up to have a go at the club

I have the same feeling! Sheedy had 25 years to come back to Richmond. He never did- so Im over it. Lets all get in and support Hardwick and Leppitsch and Campbell and co. Maybe with time they can turn it around!

In all of this, we should be playing on it to get Fitzroy fans on our side. They are currently in court with the Brisbane Lions over their logo and Brisbane are playing some dirty tricks trying to price them out of a legal challenge.

We should acknowledge that Fitzroy were a great old club who went through a tough time, and ensure our fans that we won't be going that way. Make a change/NAB cup strip (we'll hardly wear it) with something like white with a black sash and yellow prowling tiger motif on the front. Instantly plus a few thousand members.

The scary thing is you are serious.  You have bagged our current and past coaches for not putting players in front of the ball and now you want to flood the backline.

There is a strong case to argue that Hardwick is taking the longest strategic plan of all by playing our cubs one on one to make them learn how to play football. Your idea of strategy is a damage control and Hardwicks is to force the cubs to sink or swim.

Hold on a tick, To play ONE player back on the weekend woud of been ideal.
The extra player back could of been used as the release player on the rebound , as Geelong played 3 talls inside F 50 :banghead, all three are hardly big on chasing ::)
Pointless discussing this any further with Morons

How quickly the media forget  ::)

Melbourne 2008 - Bailey's first year as coach.

R1  vs Haw      L 104
R2  vs Dogs     L 95
R3  vs Geel      L 30
R4  vs North     L 48
R5  vs Carl       L 33
R6  vs Bris       L 52

% after 6 rounds = 54.3

Every game was over by half-time with the Dees 6 goals down minimum.

It was round 7 that the Dees got their first win and that was coming back from 50 points down at half-time against Freo (just 1 win themselves) at the MCG.

R8  vs Adel     L 76
R9  vs Haw     L 19  ...... first game that they were competitive for the whole 4 quarters.
R10 vs St K    L 79
R11 vs Coll     L 21
R12 vs Rich    L 22
R13 vs Syd     L 40
R14 vs Bris     W 1 @ the MCG
R15 vs Dogs   L 31
R16 vs Freo    L 46 ...... similar to our Freo game at Subi as they kicked the first 5 goals also.
R17 vs North  L 28
R18 vs Ess     L 16
R19 vs Geel    L 116 ..... once again just like us.
R20 vs WCE    W 34 @ the MCG  (Eagles finished 2nd bottom with just 4 wins)
R21 vs Port     L 78
R22 vs Rich     L 80

3 wins 19 losses and a final % of 62.6.

Let's wait until the end of the season before we join the media in calling ourselves the new Fitzroy  :sleep.
