The sleeping pill has not been confirmed being prescribed you can buy sleeping tablets over the counter at a super market.

Now while we know he's taken Temazepam before, there are also reports he's changed his prescription to a new type of sleeper. This has nothing to do with buying sleeping tablets at the supermarket, but nowhere did Popelord say you could by prescription medication at Safeway.

You may as well sell Temazepam at Safeway though, it's useless stuff, get to sleep better using tic tacs.

Go away fool, go drive that leased mercedes  :lol
You keep using that as an insult, but I'm not entirely sure why, it's a strange one

This has been the most blown out of proportion story of the entire year

You can buy herbal sleeping tablets in "Milk Bars" and even Shell Petrol Stations.

For all we know thats what he took.

Hence do your research and don't pay out on our medical staff when Cousins could have bought it at Coles.

It is a bit strange how some people hang onto an insult for so long.

Toxicology reports give Cousins all-clear for alcohol: report
ROBYN GRACE
July 6, 2010 - 3:03PM

Toxicology tests for Ben Cousins have reportedly given the AFL star the all-clear for alcohol.

Radio 3AW reported this afternoon results of Cousins’ toxicology tests revealed the Tigers star had no alcohol in his blood system when he was rushed to hospital yesterday.

Cousins was discharged from hospital today after treatment for a suspected adverse reaction to a prescribed sleeping pill.

3AW’s Sports Today host Gerard Healy said this afternoon Cousins had been ‘‘off the grog for a month’’.

An Epworth Hospital spokeswoman confirmed at midday the Richmond player had left the hospital and was not expected to speak to media, as had been rumoured.

Richmond officials are expected to release a statement this afternoon.

Earlier, the hospital spokeswoman said the Richmond player was free to leave and he had told staff he wanted to go home.

Cousins was no longer being sedated, his condition was stable and he had spent a comfortable night in hospital, the spokeswoman said.

Cousins released from hospital

Ben Cousins has been released from Epworth Hospital this afternoon.

“Ben’s condition improved significantly overnight and medical staff at the Epworth saw fit to release him from hospital this afternoon,” Richmond general manager of football Craig Cameron said today.

“The most important thing over the past 24 hours has been Ben’s health and the Club is pleased he is expected to make a full recovery. No decision has been made on his immediate playing future.”

Tests have confirmed his condition was the result of a severe reaction to a prescribed sleeping medication.

“Players are continually counselled on the correct use of prescribed medication and the club will continue to be vigilant to ensure players are well informed,” Cameron said.

Beyond this, Ben has requested he also be drug tested by the AFL to prove beyond doubt that illicit drugs were not involved.

The Club will not be making any further comment.

its not a conspiracy but sometimes the truth gets hidden , does anyone really know what the blood test results really were
the truth is the truth, whether it comes out or not is a different story, this is a very delicate situation

and this has nothing to do with jackstar

lets just say that sleeping tablets are not alway used to help one sleep

The fact you're saying this in the open makes you as bad as Jack
Don't you guys ever support this club?
