Price freeze a win for Tiger members
richmondfc.com.au
Thu 06 Jan, 2011

Richmond is one of just two Melbourne-based Clubs not to increase the cost of its Adult 11, Concession or Family membership packages for the upcoming 2011 season.

While other Melbourne-based Clubs increased basic package prices by up to $20, the Tigers have looked after their fans, maintaining 2010 pricing levels.

“There was an increase in the cost of delivering our membership packages, but the Club decided to absorb that price rise,” Richmond CEO Brendon Gale said.

“You can’t do that every season, but we want to do our best to support the fans that support us and make being a part of this Club as affordable as possible.”

Gale said a contributing factor for the price freeze was the relocation of two home games interstate in 2011.

“We committed through the process of relocating two of our home games interstate in 2011, that we would protect the rights of our members,” he said.

“We believe that by providing two replacement games, as well as fixing membership prices, we have well and truly delivered on this promise.”

Richmond has secured almost 23,500 members in its campaign so far, including more than 2800 new members through its ‘Operation 10,000’ digital referral campaign.

“Our fans have responded really positively to this season’s membership campaign - The Tiger is Stirring. Our current membership tally is a Club record this far out from the season,” Gale said.

“We are really keen to hit 46,000 members this year and we hope our approach to pricing will help us reach that target.”

3121 - Almost Sold Out

In 2011, the Club will launch a brand new coterie membership.  3121 – The Tiger Sanctum provides entry level coterie membership for Tigers supporters looking for a more comfortable match day experience that provides unprecedented access to Richmond Coaching staff and players.

Sales have already exceeded projections and it appears certain that the “Sold Out” sign will go up for this membership category early in 2011.

For more information on this brand new membership, click here to purchase your 3121 membership, or call Daniel Giese on 9426 4420 if you have any further questions

Good effort by the Suns  :thumbsup
If they win some early games they may catch Norf Lolbourne & Brissy
I reckon Brissy are stuffed TBH, they may have to merge again or move to Tassie  :lol

Kangas are a blight on the comp - that membership belongs in the NRL.
“I find it nearly impossible to make those judgments, but he is certainly up there with the really important ones, he is certainly up there with the Francis Bourkes and the Royce Harts and the Kevin Bartlett and the Kevin Sheedys, there is no doubt about that,” Balme said.
