Heppell choked in the finals

long live conca.

It's the overrated underachieving club he plays for.
They beat up on the lesser sides and get horribly bashed up by the better ones.
Other than Geelong they have suffered at least a minimum of a 9 goal loss to the top 5.
Spot on Tucky  :thumbsup

Let's judge all these top 10 draftees in 2-3 years time. I like the look of Reece and Heppell has done extremely well for a first year player but for mine Andrew Gaff will turn out the best of the crop of mids.

Which is where we faired against the top 5, however they did beat one and we did not.
They are overated and had we beaten them in the second match this year, freo would of probably held onto its spot in the 8, or maybe nort melb but anyhow theyre punces!! haha  :lol

With any luck they'll get ahead of themselves. They are no better than we are, or any of the other teams around the 8 - 12 ladder position. We didn't deserve finals this year, neither did the Bombers and they proved it on Sunday.

Conca rules

The following article was featured in the 2011 Fighting Tiger Yearbook.

Richmond coach Damien Hardwick’s quest to build fervent belief within the Club’s playing group is starting to bear fruit, as the young Tigers progress to the next phase in their exciting football journey.

One of those Tiger cubs - Reece Conca - exemplifies the growing belief among the players at Punt Road.

The Tigers’ No. 1 pick in the 2010 AFL National Draft (No. 6 overall) had a somewhat rocky start to his league career.

After a solid 15-disposal debut performance in the Round 1 loss to Carlton, Conca was handed the tough assignment of curbing the experienced, dangerous St Kilda goal-sneak, Stephen Milne, in the Round 2 clash at the MCG.

Conca tried hard, but the wily, slippery Milne got hold of him, kicking 4.7 in the drawn encounter.

A player of lesser character might have dropped their bundle a bit after that, however, Conca, with the strong backing of his coach, dug deep and proceeded to bounce back in style.

Think I am looking forward to what he provides in his 2nd year more than any other player.
Has some exceptional attributes.

Imagine what he will be like with a full preseason behind him. Last year he barely had bugger all.

Still haven't seen the conclusive evidence that this kid will be as good as quite a few are touting.

He has potential, time will tell if he is able to produce high quality football.
