LOL Danog.

I don't see Batch as the same type of player as Bowden but provided he doesn't bust his collarbones like Joel did when he was starting out in AFL (that's why Joel became more an outside player until Plough put him at CHB), Batch won't be compared to Bowden.

I dont see him being like the same as joel bowden. More a natural defender.

You can see why this kid won the bf in his years best 18 club.

I hope he has a really good game against Sydney. He had a really bad game against Port which was a real shame because he played very well the week before.

I wrote in another thread Rance is a gem.

I echo these sentiments about Jake. If anything Jake is more of a natural defender and playing defence comes more easily for him. Will be a great half back for us one day. :thumbsup

Plays tall but still lack the height to be a true CHB. Reads the play beautifully though, is a fantastic mark and beautiful kick. If he can develop his over defencive game he will make a rebounding defender for a decade. LOve kids who can come straight in and play and we have found 3 of them in two years - BAtch, Conca and Ellis  :thumbsup
