Batchelor is an excellent intercept mark and generally uses the ball with surgical precision, sounds like he owned the game at vfl last week with the ball on the end of a string and deserves a run. Right now we re poorer for not having him in the side

I actually like your non stop positive attitude ....

However you are overly positive about a lot more than 22 players and express we miss them or they should be in the side.

Can you please give me your best 22 using the full list.

This means hard bojangles decisions will need to be made on a lot of blokes, so no whoa about everyone, and best 22 your mail, and should be in the side just quietly about 40 blokes.

Pick your 22 and stick to it.

You are talking about a player that does not exist.

Very disappointing today.
Looks slow, very slow. Went missing far to often and turned to ball over way to much for an AFL listed player. I to cant see him surviving the season.

To paraphrase what I wrote earlier - How did a kid so full of potential suddenly turn into Mitch Farmer mk.II? Richmond - the home of arrested development.

What I seen if him pre season
I don't think he takes footy seriously
Doesn't work hard enough and is not fit enough for an elite footballer

Him & three-quarters of the list.

I think so too. Been a massive disappointment after a bright start.

;D

Would like to see Batch get another shot at some point. Find it interesting that they put him on the resting ruckman at times. Trying to cough up goals Damien or is there another reason behind it?? Play him as HB, let Chaplin take a tall. Still think he may have something to offer but he really hasn't come on since his first season. Is a better kick than Picky Rettard but so is my nan. And she's dead btw.

Agree coach. Batch was physically mature and ready to go from day dot, I think the focus should have been on him slimming down and working on his speed/agility rather than trying to tank him up further to play on talls. Has made him too slow for footy now.

btw I think he's a good penetrating kick, has no problem hitting 50 metre bullet passes -  just makes some really dumb decisions and unforced errors which stood out
hmm. he was drafted at 188cm / 78kg - 80kg depending on where you got your stats.
today hes 188cm/ 88kg and exactly where he should be give or take a kg.
he is no goliath he is at ideal weight and he has not massively bulked up costing agility and speed. he was always slow regardless of his weight. if we took size and weight off him he would be too small to play at the level.

yes he can kick. it probably was the only thing jackson looked for when drafting him. i know what   critics of his selectiion copped from all and sundry was, but he can kick!!!!!!
slow fumbling players with the turning circle of a mac truck are always going to struggle at afl level no matter how well they can kick. especially ones undersized for the role they have to play. bl he hasnt got  enough physical atrributes to play  tall or small at  afl and he certainly lacks in critical  skill areas.

this bloke could string the rest of the season together and id would still want him out the door. like so many before he is your proverbial glass half full and he will revert to mediocrity. to many weaknesses to sustain a thing at this level.
