Love the way he crunches opponents in tackles, really punishes them.  :clapping

The look on Dell'Ollo face on the Southern Stand boundary after getting it twice from Batch was priceless. Crunched him hard. :thumbsup

dellolo or whatever his name is has that smug Essendon head on him that you just wanna smash

Melksham is one of those in the same boat and that haircut. You just want to grab a hammer and start hitting indiscrimanantely at it. Would make genuine improvement without the plastic surgery pricetag. ;D

They're got more heads you'd just love to punch than any other team. Starting with Melksham, Hocking and Carlisle.

Batch just does all the little things right and doesn't get beaten that often.

Not his fault but was giving away heaps of height to Hurley in the last, yet still did an OK job.
Certainly a keeper.
My only fault not on him but the club is we have too many left footers off half back who are pretty weak on their right or have no right at all, Batch, Dea, Newman, Houli. Time and time again overuse of handball gets us caged in because we aren't smart and give the ball to a bloke who is a left footer and can't use his right.

Houli got away with a ripper in the third handballing deliberately out Olympic Stand side in the third.

Is a major problem of the left footers being boxed in & unable to kick.

Don't under estimate the hard edge he's brought to our backline since he came into the side. Has given us some balance

Is it just me or his pasty complexion or does he look fat?

Was not surprised he was subbed

Didn't have a good night. When he had to, he at times just didn't run hard enough

It's that Keanu Reeves hair circa Bill and Ted's Bogus Journey that makes him look pudgy.

After being overlooked for the first half of the year, Batch has played every game since round 12 and plays his 50th on Sunday.

Should read:

"After being overlooked for the first half of the year, Batch has played every game since round 12 and if selected will play his 50th on Sunday.

Based on his game last week wouldn't be at all surprised if he gets dropped  ;D

very ordinary player with massive limiitations. another who the ferals love because he brings a hard edge.  but hey we have so few with a hard edge i can understand why those who have it are put on pedestals.
