looking at the poll and im  lmao. sites full of chicken littles.they  abuse the club for not having balls, but when it comes to duds they cant bring themselves to make a call on chronic crap players..
what a weak as pee lot you are.

like many others,  like griffiths the blokes done sfa and the nuffies on here have to defend em.

i can hear you all now. oh what if he comes good lets give him another  5 yr contract to be sure.
and what a yr hes had, a whopping 9 disposals a game cracks in and tackles 2 times a game gets plenty of spoils  with a phenominal amount of 1 percenters  super super quick we see him running down players left right and centre never ever gets beaten and it goes on and on  wins heaps of ball etc etc what a freakin beauty he is.only been in the system 4 yrs and really stacks up well against his peers.

ffs its golden to read we just love our duds on this site.

You can't just expect every player to be a super stars. Such thing as a role player mate. He plays his role and he plays it well.

If his role is to look slow, get nowhere near the footy and give away free kicks than he plays his role to a tee.  :thumbsup
Depth at best but I'd try and trade him if it were up to me.

hes a hack id be happy if he could just reach the plain ordinary level and he fails to do that.

where the hell should the line in the sand be drawn. certainly not at batchelors level because what he offers is patently not good enough and the real killer is imo there is very little upside to this bloke.
trade him out cmon no one would take him hes a dud.

Easy up clawski - there are about 10-12 players who should be cut before batch, therefore stay of execution - 1 more year

simples
its this hang on to em foe one more yr attitude that kills us.  with list management player development and our ability to get something for players. so hes not in the worst but in 12 months time he most likely will be.
at least try and trade him out even in a package deal a pick around  50 now is better than nothing at all in 12 months time.
we must make calls on players and get better outcomes than we do atm.

personally ive made it pretty clear what i think hes worth but im not another club and strange things happen if you try.

I don't like. Because it's too early to tell. If anything he is on the improve.

No middle ground with old Claw. Player is either developing nicely or a hack, oxygen thief terrorist.

Batchelor and Conca should be shopped by our club to see what they can get. Batch for a pick between 30 and 40 and Conca for a between 20 and 30 is a fair trade. Both can be traded out without us losing much in terms of team performance.

If either have that much currency Ramps I will be stuffing stuffed, add another 15-20 draft positions on each

ive given hi 4 yrs i think that is plenty for his type.
people are saying hes improved, i disagree hes got bloody worse.

i scratch my head with people i ask do they really look at the type of player they are commenting on. do they have a realistic development time frame in mind, do they look at  their overall  performances, or look at  the glaring weaknesses that are there and say hey they cant perform their role consistently well with these deficiencies.
do they  even look at the stats to back up what they see. clearly they dont.

a 188cm bloke with some glaring weaknesses in his game given 4 yrs whose performance level is that of a first yr beginner.
if we want to hang onto blokes like batchelor we wont want to delist anyone. its happens its lets give em another yr they may come good lets just ignore all the kpis.

I think one more year for Batch is fair. He started to show signs in the second half of this year. If he doenst go up again next year then get  out the door. He might actually develop into an undersized KPD like Josh Gibson. Not saying he will be as good but I think he has some development left in him given his size. Rance started to really come on at about the same time of his career.
I think that your opinions on players are too hardline, too black and white.

spot on willy. I think there are players in line before him to get cut and no club would trade for him imo, so one more year and see where he's at. If he maintains similar performances, this time next year he'll very much be in the gun
