I think he is starting to feel that he belongs in the side and his confidence is picking up accordingly.  Does a lot of gut running that goes unrewarded.
Just needs to hit more targets with that left foot.

Yep agree.

Ran a fair Kms yesterday. Got ignore a few times wafted he'd presented as the sweeping go to guy off HB

Batch stays, permanently.  Think he can be a good swingman if times are tough in the forward line, as he can take a grab and kick the ball.

Currently a member of the Roupies, and employed by the great man Roup.

Pivotal, maybe not. Influential definitely.

Couldn't hit the side of a barn and slows up the play a lot....other than that he's in Brownlow form... :whistle

Looks to be slightly improved but still won't make the starting team against Carlton.

Disagree, unless injured will be in the starting 22 against Carlton

So if he doesn't play who takes his spot?

except when he slots a goal ?

Did you watch the match on the weekend W.A.?

Batch hit most of his targets and provided as much run off HB as Houli.

Yeah I did and that's absolute crap. He missed nearly all his targets, he hit up one player in the forward line and wow, he kicked one goal. Does not have it at this level, is only there to fill a position, he is nothing special and is NAB/VFL at best.

He's very stock standard and you need some of those players. He provides lots of flexibility for us and does lots of the hard unnoticed stuff.

But he has one glaring issue and that's his haircut

You must have been watching a different game to what I was watching WAT. Jeez.

Have to disagree WAT.

Batch played his role well, did a lot of running to be the link up bloke off HB, not his fault he got ignored. Yep he missed a couple of targets but so did Martin, Deledio et al.

Just watching the replay and his pass to Maric to in the 3rd was the perfect kick

Personally reckon he is in our best 22 and ahead a few others
