What I find interesting - Jake was very much apart of the 9 game winning streak. Played in all the victories.
He did not play in the first half of the year when most of us were burning our Richmond memorabilia in bonfires
good take on it but rance deledio maric and miles say hello.
win or lose last yr most of the time i watched us play batchelor was ordinary. lucky hes a dimma favorite imo.

who in their right mind would want to play  a slow  non agile 188cm bloke up against genuine talls when you dont have to. anyone have an answer.

why would you play a slow non agile 188cm bloke who continually fumbles and cant find the ball on sml/med players or as a rebounder anyone have an answer.  he doesnt have the attributes and that will always be the case.

How was it, he was successful as a junior?
if ni could answer that about all recruits id be on every clubs list as a recruiter.
thing is i didnt rate him as a junior and thoght him a big reach.

I reckon he's settled into the backline well and plays his role well. Strong in the contest, good kick and is starting to rebound more

l have always liked Batch. l think the team plays well when his in the side. When his confidence is up his a very hard worker. Grymes is the one who is a bit radical & needs to go harder. They have to perform cause the pressure will come on all of them with Astbury wanting to play & you cannot play Astbury, Batchlor, Grymes, Chaplin, Rance all in the one side cause we will be slaughtered.

OK.

Astbury IN next week.

Bachelor OUT.

IMO, they will keep Grimes in the team as he can play on smaller forwards.

Newman needs to be dropped BUT because Hardwick loves him, we can forget that happening!

15 touches at 83%. 5 score involvements.
Did his job.
"The money might have been better. But, at the end of the day, Richmond showed faith in me. It's only fair that now we're 18th on the ladder, I show the faith back in the club and do everything I can to put them in front. In the end, I'm stoked I made the decision to stay. I f***ing love this club”

Could argue Astbury might be a better fit for Boyd than Rance, leaving Rance for Crameri.

Batch normally gets creamed by Crameri? Not enough strength.

Todd Elton beat Boyd easily.

Will not bother many teams for a few years.

Will kick 5 just from free kicks if he gets Chaplin, can already see the headline, "Bulldogs Boyd on!" ;)

Unfortunately if he's in the team, he has to go to someone and he just won't get dropped. He did turn it around last year and became serviceable after a sloppy start so I hope he does again by gee whiz I hope Astbury comes on
