I thought he played a reasonable defensive game. You dont need all your backs to rack up masses of possessions to do a role.

Sorry, if he is the answer we are stuffed!! He didn't do a job on anyone mate, he just got his 5 and that was it, what job did he do??

WAT

Serious question.

Who do you think Batch played on and furthermore, what impact did that player have for Hawthorn.

It may be in capitals.

Played a solid game Batch. Certainly puts his balls on the line more than guys like Houli, Ellis, Vickery etc

 :facepalm...

Here we go, this is another example of why we will never progress. Every game people accept these players and every year they are still in the team going through the motions every game.... :help

Yep, him and Morris, have we done any better since they came in??? Play Elton instead or is Morris and Batch the future??

It seems like you dont watch much of the game, then just log in the morning after, check the stats and if they are on the lowish side for certaon players, make the assumption they are the worst players in the team.

On the logic of stats, youd believe B Ellis is a god.

And for the record i reckon Morris was reasonable last night.

Take the stats out of it, he still does nothing and Ellis is crap, that the problem, we have a team full of crap and that includes Morris, Batch and Ellis.

To be honest:-

WAT gets a bee in his bonnet with certain players and once hes made his mind up its really hard for him to be rational.

Jackstar makes some pretty terrible off the mark calls.

Whats worse were the posters who thought our list was in good shape for so many years.

In some of those posters defense, I think a lot were okay with the list if the top up players served their purpose but were moved on when  that had passed and younger players were given a shot. I think they underestimated how many battlers would be given games over the past 1-2 years at the expense of the kids. Then there were (and still are - more so in other mediums) some people in la la land
