i reckon newys form is being affected because he dosnt have a regular posaition to call his own any more.you would thing someone with his experience would rise above that.anyway we are only a the half way mark, plenty of time to turn things round

Yeah I thought he was awful too. Has been awful the last few weeks and for the most part this year also.

His best game was the St Kilda one and he has been ordinary for the rest of them.

Morris is the engine room and the new general.
I think Newy knows he'll be lucky to play another season of solid footy.
I still feel his mature development suffered as a result of bestowed the captaincy

if we had any clue we would remove  the captaincy from his end of year, regardless if we play finals.

he needs to earn his spot and while is Captain  he will get played.

You have to ask urself are we any different on field if he gets injured. I would say no. Like brackets said Morris is our new man down back

we have room for one of Houli or Newman and Houli wins
Currently a member of the Roupies, and employed by the great man Roup.

Would rather have Newman in a finals game than Houli. Can't believe how much poo Bowdo has copped only for a receiver like Houli to get talked up. If Houli was more than a decent player he'd get tagged off half back like Danyle Pearce, Heath Shaw etc do. Has a great work rate but he's not winning his own footy and he's certainly not played across HB for his defensive efforts. Have some dirty prick like Picken play on him and he'd go missing.

Then watch Lids, Cotchin and Martin lead up to a 20 goal win.  :whistle

Reckon there's a few sides out there that would fancy having a player go head to head with Martin.
