What is going on with Cotchin, has he got the ticker or was he being heavily tagged...

he was playing dull forward mate.

Fair go.

Not having a go, just asking, no worries I didnt realise where he was playing....hard to see from Zambia.... :thumbsup

made some big plays tonight - stats dont always tell the story. I dont overhype this bloke like some, but tonight 3 or 4 times at important moments he did the absolute right thing. Still got loads of improvement to make but I was happy with his game overall. Moving in the right direction

Deledio- Think some on here who jumped on lids last week labelling him selfish should think a little more b4 they comment. For me was clearly best on ground tonight absolutely towelled up goddard love seeing him through the midfield and pushing forward.

Good call, however Lids did warrant the criticism he was well below par last week and this week not only showed how brilliant he can be he showed how far off he was last week. If Lids played like this last week we could have won by 5 goals.

Takes a great player to bounce back. Good on ya Lids.

from what I saw in 2nd half after thr reiwoldt injury.  It appeared cotchin / Martin were sharing the full forward postion.

He'll get 2 at least.  maybe 3 to 4.

In Play (Ball was on Rays boot)
High Contact (Hit him in the head)
Low Impact (Ray got up took the kick and goaled)

I think he'll get off or at worst 1 week. So much is reliant on how the opponent reacts to a bump. If Ray went off on a stretcher McGuane would get 5+.

The game just felt like a lottery for me, umpires were watching a different game, Riewoldt was effectively suspended this week cause he was concussed out of the game so had a higher percentage of fatigue when Jones was subbed on. 37 minute last quarter, flip the coin for who ever is in front when the siren went.

If Milne had any ticker he would have put that goal away and won it for them. Luckily he is weak as a stale bottle of pi$$

Didn't realise until after the game commentary that Grigg played on Dal Santo. Makes his effort even better.

Totally different interpretations on some frees. St Kilda rushed a behind 4 minutes after McGuane.
Incorrect disposal is another one.

Defence on Nick in the second half showed what we must avoid with Jack.
Luke just spoiled and we had a small at his feet cleaning since Milne was the only other forward threat.

I actually think Helbig is going to be our best recruit from last years draft. The boy has some serious talent.

One thing that I'm concerned about is that he has very hard hands.  Seems tough for him to take the ball when it's loose.

I thought Cotch was okay tonight. He made some nice plays but the thing that stands out for me tonight was that miss from 15 out in the third after being fed from Morton after Mitch took that speccy.

Well a draw brings mixed emotions but...

I would like to think that one day soon we can look back and mark this match as a turning point.

And that I had the pleasure of watching.

Dont know why Conca was left on Milne the whole game

Part of Hardwick's "we're not about winning yet, we're about learning" mantra I reckon.  Left him on Milne to learn a few things about accountability and positioning.  I had no problem with it because I have faith that Conca will be something special and this will only help that.

Agree, Conca will definitely be a rotating midfielder soon but Hardwick is trying to teach him how to play defense.
