whats his kicking and decision making like, tony?

Pretty good al, he's a natural footballer, understands the game well and can be pretty devastating ruckman with his ability to run most opponents off their feet. Coupled with his size and aggression reckon he'd be a perfect tag team with Vickery. 80% ruck 20% fwd swapping with Vickery. Hes 23 about 200cm and 100+kg and wants to be a clear number 1 ruck something he'll never get at brisbance with leunberger. Get it done and stop this trengove, blake nonsense

if what you say is true i fully agree with your finish.

Agree, this would be a big step in the right direction. Would complement our developing mids perfectly.

My only knock on him TM is that he can be a bit of a sook.  Hope that is just immaturity if we get him because it is the last thing our list needs - another sook.

Isn't he a bit injury prone? I always thought he could never get a good run at it because he was always injured? or is that all the other ruckmen Brisbane have???

Next. no way will Freo let him go in the first place.  Move on people.
Clark, Mitch would be more of a chance.  Offer him whatever it takes!!

Mitch Clarke is a much better option than Trengove and more realistically he would likely want out to be number 1 ruck. He killed it one year when he was number 1 but since Luenburger came in and they split duties he's been far from impressive. Some players need more responsibility - hes a good size, nimble, very agressive and at a good age where rucks just start coming into their peak. I'd throw a big pay cheque at him

Hes going to GWS, $600 gorillas per year for 3 years.

Give up pick 10 for M Clark and add another player for good measure.

Gawn, Trengove and Tapscott have re-signed with Melbourne.

Max Gawn, 20 in December, said he had no interest in playing anywhere other than Melbourne, despite a media report linking him to Richmond.

Probably too late as per usual, well end up picking one of those geelong 3rd 0r 4th maybe even 5th tier ruckmen.
They'll play poorly cos that's the acceptance at punt rd. And well be back to square one

Trengove better play alot better then he has today(so far) if we we're to give up anything of worth for him.

I must admit I don't see what the club sees in Port's Trengove. In defence you want footballers with natural penetrating footskills who can rebound and set up attacks as well as man-up, spoil and defend. I don't see that with Trengove. It appears we are only chasing him because he's tall, plays in the backline and comes originally from Victoria rather than his football ability.

select Trengrove and it will rival the Mcmahon trade as the worst in the last 10 years, if you ask me.

The bloke is crap and i wouldnt take anyone from that rabble of a club.

Currently a member of the Roupies, and employed by the great man Roup.

I'd take Butcher, Boak, Hartlett and Gray.
