Any Father sons to look out for?
« on: May 13, 2011, 05:17:46 PM »

Speaking to Craig Lambert today and he tells me one of his four young sons (13 y-o) is already on the RFC radar. :thumbsup

The kid is over-the-moon and will be a guest of the club down the track

Father-Son selections are huge in strengthening up the list in the long term, without giving up too much. although the dogs parting with their 1st rounder for cordy might have been a little generous in hindsight.

Word is that Cordy is anything but Ayce and is a dead-set spud

I think a couple of years ago there was talk Brisbane were a chance to win out but the way the Lions are a basketcase now and we've got our act together off-field and heading in the right direction on it it's really a no-brainer of a decision.

Weightman has 3 sons...but are 12, 10 and 8....I've heard the 12 year old Liam is very talented. Something to keep in mind for the future.

Wikipedia has him playing 123 games for us and 96 games for the Bears/Lions.
So they would not be able to nominate him for father son anyway.
I remember the talk but after a bit of research i am certain we are the only ones that can lay claim. :)

I seen Paul Broderick at the footy last Saturday. Had his two boys with him also. They are only around 8-10 y/o though, so would be a few years away.

Last July they were 13, 11 and 9, according to Flea, so that would make them all approximately 2 years older than what you've said.

Why would Kelvin Moore bother arguing on an internet forum? No offense to this forum but the players are living the life they don't need to talk, or argue about it. Whoever red is, he/she won't be Moore.

This is true. And I might add, It's amazing how easy it is. Some of the info one finds....

For example, did you know GG has a third nipple?

All true.
