Should have lost by 10 goals, 10 point margin was flattering, dinky chipping kicks when we should have been going long. On todays performance side has a long long way to go. Rucks are just so bad, Miller should not play another game again (list clogger) Best players today for mine were Rance and Houli.

Thanx Jt. Did the scumpiring improve at all in the 2nd half? I'm betting not. I came close to kicking in the telly in the first half.

Yeah the umpiring was very average all day

Where did you guys get the live feed from? Judging by the descriptions it doesn't sound like the radio. I gave up watching the delay on 7  because the Sydney-centric umpiring was just giving me the screaming dribbles.

So it wasnt just me.. phew it was bad

I thought we were really disappointing all game. The game should have been done and dusted by half time but the swans kept us in it. Truth is we need more afl standard players and probably another 2 or 3 class acts to help us really improve. We had a lot of very average performances today, too many for us to do any good, beyond that Miller should retire. Its time to look to the draft again. Hopefully we can get afew more quality kids to come through.

Forgot to add Richmond should stop wasting its time with the likes of Browne and Graham. Going nowhere with them as rucks. Our KP defensive stocks are rabble also. Still plenty of work to do at RFC for us to improve.

Just got home from the game ... What it looked like to me at the ground
- We gave away too many free kicks.
- We over-possessed the ball, creating that referred pressure that Dimma talks about.
- We turned the ball over in the corridor all day.

We're missing a tall defender (but we already knew that) and another big bodied midfielder or two.

Jack looked to be carrying a leg, he looked fine at training yesterday, but didn't seem to be running freely after half time.

On the way home from the game. We were really thrown defensively with the early loss of astbury. Miller was ineffective and made a mediocre footballer in LRT look like plugger. rance improved as the game went on but too many times we had nobody between the contested footy and the swans goal square. Jetta's goal a classic example of this. They kept a really hard tag on cotch all day. Houli was by far our best. Browne was ordinary and tapped to many times to swans players.

I could go on but what's the point.

Also thought Houli was our best, Tiga

And Mitch Farmer did a reasonable job too!

Also just back from the game and agree with Tiga and Muscles. No McGuane, No Astbury, No Grimes meant we were in trouble down back from the get go. Moving Millar down there was a stop gap clearly, but its not clearl to me what the alternatives were. Poor kicking from the Swans probably evened out the lopsided free kick count. Also agree that Houli was good for us.
One little snippet that I will relate for those of you not at the game. There was one Richmond player out on the ground well after everybody had left and most of the stands were empty. He was practicing his goal kicking under contested pressure. It was of course Trent Cotchin. You could tell that he was still burning from missing that shot in the last quarter and desperately wants to kick truly next time. I appreciate that this might get me labelled as a brightsider, but this is why I think this club is on the improve.

He started slow and tiniest like a hack, kicking the ball on the dull. Ran into Edwards causing a goal. So he did 3 ok things. Big deal. Hes one of a plethora of poo m e n.
WTF is with hardwit persisting with browne? Geez eff!
