He plays a bit like a young Brent Harvey in that video clip but I'd still prefer us to go for a bigger body midfielder at pick 15.

Certainly doesn't look small bodied.

Adams is much more physical than Harvey too. I compare him to Kieran Jack but most say he's plays similar to Jimmy Bartel.

Adams has been growing on me big time. Some of his work through traffic is dead set ripper. When I've been taking a look at the mid draftees I have been trying to imagine their compatibility with Cotchin and Martin. I reckon he'd fit right in and looks like he has some grunt too. Pinching him and Ellis if he slips through the first rounders to catch at 26 I'd be happy as Larry.

There are a couple others I really like such as Docherty but I just can no longer imagine a fit :( humbug

thought the same thing watching the clip
“For My thoughts are not your thoughts,
Nor are your ways my ways,” says the Lord.

“For as the heavens are higher than the earth,
So are my ways higher than your ways,
And my thoughts than your thoughts."

The kid sure does back himself and has great awareness through traffic. Could be the inside mid we are after..

I and someone else asked Brett Anderson from Inside Football who Richmond is interested in at pick 15 and he said Richmond have made it clear they want players who can kick the ball. Also need midfield help and KPD's. We'd love Docherty but he will be gone by pick 15. Adams, Kavanagh (would be a steal there), Greene (also a steal) would be on our radar. Maybe even Talia.

Docherty, Adams, Kavanagh and Greene are all mids. Talia is the only tall/key defender there.

I've been keen on Docherty since day 1 but MT kept telling me that he is a receiver and we need an in and under type to take the load of Tucky & Cotch. So if We need an in and under, then Adams or Devon Smith would be my picks. In saying that, if Brad Mckenzie is still available at 26, I'd take him in a heartbeat. The only player rated better than him at his club was Chad Wingard. McKenzie may not play next year as he needs a bit of beefing up but mark my words, if this kid gets selected by an AFL club and he is given the opportunity to develop, he will be a gun!

An article on Mitchell Grigg saying GWS and GC aren't interested in him so he'll be around at pick 15....

Grigg - SA's MVP at this year's AFL under-18 Championships - was so impressive that 16 of the 18 AFL clubs lined up to interview him.

Only Greater Western Sydney - armed with 11 of the top 14 picks - and Gold Coast overlooked him.

Selected in this year's All-Australian under-18 team after averaging 24 disposals at 69 per cent efficiency at the championships, Grigg is tipped to be picked between selections 20 and 35 at the draft, although some mock drafts have him going as high as No. 15 to Richmond.

Does Sheehan base his top 30 on player ability or the types of players he thinks clubs will require? The reason why I say this is that IMO there are a few quality players that have been left off his list, like Grigg and then he selects a player like Crozier who is a real lightweight and very much a gamble.

I think Shifter bases it on kids he thinks will excite AFL recruiters and clubs. He seems to promote kids who have more that athletic "X-factor". He would also talk to recruiters about which kids have shot up lately in interest. Josh Bootsma is one so that's why he is listed in Shifter's top 30.

Frost plays nothing like Sam Gilbert, That's a terrible comparison.
