Talia has all the skills of a turd burglar

Kicks it like a little auskicker. Throws the ball up waits for it come back down then kicks it.

But is Kersten the type of player we need as a top priority? If it was a deep draft and we had 5 picks, I'd say go for it but what we really need is either a solid inside mid or a flanker/mid type with elite foot skills.

Tell you what, that Talia looks like a future champ, big bodied already!!!!! This is the player we need to go for, big bodied now, instead of will develop in 4 years.

Key defender.....all Australian.....

Most kids at Talia's height can put on bulk . . . they need to have the skills which is what Talia is missing IMO.

Ditto these thoughts . . . Kersten doesn't appeal to me at all, no way near as clean as Darling.

Just saw this on twitter as well:

"@emmasq you say Kersten won't go to Richmond. Is this because he won't be available or because you think Richmond aren't interested?"

I'm not sure about Elton.

That from another planet TV show was a shocker.
Who isn't a fan of the thinking man's orange Tim Fleming?

Giant leftovers after top 11 picks

WITH 11 of the first 14 picks in the AFL national draft, all eyes will be on GWS. But then the real draft battle begins.

RICHMOND

PICKS 15, 26, 55

WHAT IT NEEDS
Finally the Tigers have a balanced list, having recruited a host of key talls and bolstered their midfield stocks. Damien Hardwick loves contested-ball machines, but do they need more outside run to complement Dustin Martin, Trent Cotchin and co? Finally the Tigers have a solid track record at the recruiting table, so recruiting truism - "best available" - actually fits this time.

WHAT IT MIGHT GET
Having already taken small defender Steve Morris and ruckman Ivan Maric in the trade period, the Tigers have picks 15, 26 and 55 left. Given GWS needs to secure some talls with its early picks, the Tigers are likely to go for the best remaining midfielder. Collingwood's John McCarthy is a lock in the pre-season draft.

RECYCLING OPPORTUNITIES
Unlikely until the pre-season draft.

LATE MAIL
Rubbing their hands together at the prospect of securing Gippsland Power defender Sam Docherty, the most potent right-foot kick in the draft.

Biggest question I have regarding tonight's draft is

After his stuff up at the All Australian team awards......

Will Stephen Silvagni get the right names .....

WP, Isn't that why they have numbers? But then again he's probably more inclined to stuff those up.   :lol He comes across as a bit of a slow burner does old Steve.

WP, I'm actually going to be wearing some GWS gear and I'm going to kidnap Silvagni, take his place and go "Selection #1....Pass", "Selection #2....Pass", "Selection #3....Pass", "Selection #4....Pass", "Selection #5....Pass" and let nature take its course.  ;D

if that's the case II'd be hoping you say:

Pick 1: Mitch Farmer
Pick 2: Brendan Fevola
Pick 3: Troy Taylor

Etc etc
