Port apparently are happy to let Maric get to the Tigers.

Peter Rhode says Freo ruckman Jonathon Griffin is their number 1 target. Rhode says the club is very keen on getting a mature ruckman to support Matthew Lobbe.

Adelaide only had to give up #33 for Jacobs and he's a far superior ruck than Maric. Pick #37 is too much.

Adelaide did little work on trading ruckman Ivan Maric to Richmond for a draft pick on Tuesday.

"We've had a couple of other things going on," Noble said.

"We have not spoken to Richmond today."

It mentions further up in the article that Adelaide could stockpile compo picks gained in trades with ours being one of them. So obviously the Crows are still chasing our compo pick for Maric  ::).

We should not speak to them until after Thursday and stuff up any chance they are hoping of getting a pick in the GWS mini-draft. Pick 37 is easily a fair return. Why should we pay more for Maric than the Crows did for Jacobs last year in a similar compromised draft (and who they've rated better than Maric)!

just heard on trade radio or crock ....lol ...radio that we just offered those mulleted thong wearing inbreds the compo pick back and it wasn't enough for Maric.  It that is true, i'm bout to arc up the blow torch and head down to punt road... IF we are going to be held to stuffing ransom, lets go for something first class.

I've been saying all along, stuff them, tell Maric to nominate for the PSD, and we can pick him up for nix.

Adelaide are no longer being reasonable to deal with, lets just make him walk and keep all our picks.
