Robbo on the Herald-Sun website has big Ivan as recruit of the year so he's on board...

1. Ivan Maric
Forget cult hero status, forget the mullet, the Tigers big man is the genuine article as a footballer. Against Brent Renouf, who admittedly is not Simon Madden, Maric forged career-highs in possessions (20) and hitouts (46). He is a contagious footballer, in the sense that his character and enthusiasm overwhelms his lack of silk, and his teammates just love his competitive nature.

Recruit of the year? Don't know if such an award exists but Josh Hill and Tigers ruckman Maric would be the contenders.

I agree. As I already stated in another thread we should target knights. He knows where the goals are and he has no trouble finding the ball. It'll be great to cheer on a knights again.  :thumbsup
