The thing that amazed me yesterday was that this bloke only had very limited rest time,more or less rucked alone all day and was one of our better players to boot.
And one other thing i love about this bloke is his second and third efforts,he's prepared to scrap for the ball in the clinches

You guys need to watch more games from Stafford's time. Let's remember for quite a while he had Tim Flemming and Aaron Fiora at his feet, not Martin, Chimp etc. Maric is a lot better than what I thought he would be. When he starts kicking 20-30 goals a season maybe he'll be as good as Staff was.

All you guys taking pot shots at Jack should pull your heads in. I don't recall everyone being on the Maric bandwagon when we were trading away a pick for him. He has been good though. Big test this week against some good rucks

Staff and maric play different styles too. besides their ruck work, staff was a good target up forward who would take grabs and kick goals, whereas maric is good at dropping back and helping the defenders out.
