But more importantly, how is Richie Tambling going?

Best thing to happen to the Tigers in a very long time.
Well done to Richmond for convincing the opposition that Maric was just an "honest plodder" for so long....the jig is up now.

Another tick for Matt Hornsby's homework. His statistically analysis of every player in the league over every round gives the club a much better understanding of a players worth than any of shallow stats we are feed. When Maric expressed interest in moving, we knew what he was capable of.

Matt Hornsby is a glorified fitness instructor

You're thinking of Blair Hartley

Pull your in and go and look at his stats prior to this year. I'm talking about when we were trading for him. No one know too much about the lad and going by the stats it didn't look like he was much of an upgrade. I'm not talking about this season you slapper. My post was about how good he has been for us. Stats don't mean everything, sometimes you need to watch a bloke in person to see what they really offer. Maric is one of those blokes

Pull your head in, danielle. stuff me, you'd think someone would have enough common sense....
hes had another great game today gave our mids an armchair ride again and hes become indispensible. imo is the aa ruckman atm.
but you know your right, big ivan battled real hard for any sort of consistency at adelaide. he most certainly hadnt made it as a player and a awful lot of his games were underwhelming to say the least, i thought him well worth getting but i had serious doubts about useing pick 35 on him a 26 yr old ruckman who could not get a regular game. lot of risk there to be useing that pick.

ask any adelaide supporter  they loved him but the gripe was he would play 2 or 3 good games and then go missing for long periods.

as its panned out we have found a very good ruckman and credit to those in charge on this one, hartley i think it was, was keen on big ivan for yrs. now we need to go out and find his long term replacement and get him in our system asap in preparation for when ivan wont be around in 4 or 5 yrs time.
