There is no way GC will let Nicholls go.

Nicholls is 3rd in line up there, offer the boy the world and he will come.
The other two possabilitys are Bellchambers or Zac Clarke. Both are the right age and out of contract, either could  service us nicely through the next few years of finals appearances  ;D

Interesting what happens to Essendon. Could make it easy (although others would have interest) or very hard to get Bellchambers

Clarke re-signed last month. A real bummer because I was pretty keen on him too.

I think Currie would be a very likely option or Blicavs from the Cats but I think they will hang onto him as a future #1 ruckman.
Only watched one Coburg game this year but is the Beaner doing much ruck work? The game I saw he was playing up forward for most of it.

Would love Bellchambers. Good ruckman and very handy as a resting forward. Still relatively young too. Would still keep Orren on the list though. Will leave us with four ruckmen and McBean developing nicely down at Coburg too. :thumbsup

Jesse White anyone?
Can play ruck & forward.  :thumbsup
He'll be cheap, which will be a plus considering we need $$$ for Jack and Martin.  ;D
The club that keeps giving.

Robbie Warnock from Carlton would be a good backup or even primary IMO. 206cm and gets a lot of hitouts.

What about Clarke from Freo - their third string ruckman?

why change?
Maric is a gun,yes he has some injury issues ,which the club is aware of and seems to be managing.
Ty fills in when needed and this part of his game seems to be improving more than his forward play.
McBean is coming along just nicely, and we have Giff who if he can up his contribution ,would fill another of the talls position.

Cause if maric does a knee we are left with Derick and orren.

Mcbean is too good for the ruck
