D-Mac call-upRichmond has named newcomer Dean Macdonald on its extended interchange bench for Sunday’s final home-and-away round clash with North Melbourne at Etihad Stadium.
The 19-year-old medium-sized forward, who was the Tigers’ fourth pick (No. 51 overall) in last year’s National Draft, is in line to make his AFL debut following some impressive performances at VFL level with Coburg in recent weeks.
Ben Nason and Matthew White have also been included on Richmond’s extended interchange bench, while Matt Dea has been recalled to the starting 18 after missing last Sunday’s victory over Adelaide because of injury.
Jake King is the only out at this stage, due to the two-match suspension he received earlier this week.
The team will be finalised tomorrow afternoon.
