jackson has a number of critical deficiencies i.e. kicking, decision-making and discipline

It's the discipline that is the big killer IMHO, costs games at time (hello round 24) if he remains at the RFC then he should be booted out of the leadership group at an absolute minimum IMHO

Yer his kicking is exaggerated. Its not great but he's not Tuck either. But his discipline kills us.

Spackson Jackson
“I find it nearly impossible to make those judgments, but he is certainly up there with the really important ones, he is certainly up there with the Francis Bourkes and the Royce Harts and the Kevin Bartlett and the Kevin Sheedys, there is no doubt about that,” Balme said.

For mine it's Jacko's slow decision making that is just as much a killer as his lack of discipline. He is too often a momentum killer and in modern footy you can't afford to have players like that in your side. Players who continually can't see or ignore the first option and then either put themselves or a teammate under pressure and into trouble as a result are a liability. For someone who is apparently bright off-field, Jacko is often just a slow-thinker on it. He often just can't see the play evolving around him whereas say a Cotchin reliabily has great awareness. Combine that with his inconsistent footskills and we just need to find better footballers if we are to become the top side we want to become.

Even more of a killer MT.
Hacko is the king of the stop & prop.
Football is unnatural to him.

True. No real surprise either when you think about it. He was drafted more based on his athletic ability (he could run) than football ability. That's why he was a late pick.
