Any chance the video will/could be knocked down to a 30 sec TV commercial? I see Essendon has a membership ad out already :chuck and St Kilda was making one today.

Is a tv commercial really the best value the club can get given your trying to market to so few and purchasing tv advertising is comparatively expensive, as is the production. 

We should maximise work in social media where promotion is comparatively cheap but can be shared from fan to fan and re-tweeted and shared along facebook walls before going for some massive TV campaign.

The depths of social media would go far beyond the reach of tv generally* for our means imo.  TV is for mass marketing for a product for the masses.



*Richmond games and possibly AFL panel shows on Fox but even then they dont start until early next year when we would want our membership drive well and truly rocking.  Even a radio ad on SEN would have better bang for buck of our target market than a tv commercial.  And making up some kind of Richmond story for the HUN and purchasing a colour membership ad right below it.

We'll do an ad for Foxtel that will be shown next year but nothing out of the ordinary.

You have to ask yourself what the best way to spend limited money is. Essendon had a press conference for their membership launch, they made a commercial, etc.

We didnt do any of that and still have had a pretty good jump on membership.
