Thank god for the last couple of posts.

Can't beleive the excuses being made for Essendon (of all clubs), on a Richmond website. FFS.  :banghead

Remember the saying 'Eat em Alive'? It should mean something if you barrack for the Tiges.

We have the upper hand on something for once. Make them feel it.

i suppose 30 years of shiitness will get you clutching at the smallest of  insignificant things.
“For My thoughts are not your thoughts,
Nor are your ways my ways,” says the Lord.

“For as the heavens are higher than the earth,
So are my ways higher than your ways,
And my thoughts than your thoughts."

With 9 days to go at that rate it'll still mean we'll have 45k members going into round 1.

We're also approx. 3000 ahead of this time last year so 50k should be comfortably achievable now.

Where are those tallies published out of interest OE?

It's good that we're selling a few but unless we know the context of the membership categories it's really comparing apples with oranges.

The vast majority are each club's official membership tally on their respective membership page of their official website. The exceptions are Essendon who has a official EFC poster on Essendon's BF board posting regular if not daily updates; Geelong has something similar on BF as well as the Cats' offical twitterer although the tally is updated probably once a week at best; while Collingwood is more from official statements from club officials (there's only been a few over the whole preseason). Fremantle is the only club not to state an official tally figure (or unofficial for that matter) all preseason.
