Still increasing our lead over the Bombers (42,657)  ;)

We are in front of Freo as well so we're officially in the top 4 of memberships now.

The article in last Saturdays West Australian in an article near the front on P14 says the Dockers have listed their current membership at 40,838 - Target 43,714 to beat the current record of 43343 set in 2007.
Last year at this time they had 38,496 so they should get to the new figure by June.

The Eagles are full with 9383 Families on waiting list who are entitled to 4 tickets each.

I would like to see us really put a major gap in the numbers between us and the bumblers. A lead of 5000-6000 would be appropriate at this stage of the proceedings  ;D

It's like rotation basis in WA with Eagles fans much like Man Utd and other big EPL clubs like Liverpool and Arsenal.

They need to get that 60K+ seater stadium in Perth.

It will happen with time. May even happen this year. Seems the bums are stumbling and bumbling away while even us with small daily increases are powering ahead of them. :thumbsup

Tiger train is starting to slow down, and we've almost arrived at punt rd...

Agree about needing a bigger stadium, 60k stadium would be an unwise decision to implement.
They could almost utilise one now, with population growth, the growth of the game they should be looking to house at least 80k in a new state of the art stadium.
Its typical in this country that many things are decided or built without the future in mind.
The anywhere, anytime Tigers.

With the amount of wealth in the ground in WA Perth should end up growing faster than all capital cities. If the state govt is smart they will have sufficient taxes in place to facilitate infrastructure projects (physical and social).

QLD does it well, Melb and Syd dont.

So I agree min 80,000 seat stadium for Perth is needed.
