If he flat out says he doesn't want to go there is a good chance they won't pinch him. He could also put a price on his head. I don't reckon he'll come to us if best we can do is a rookie spot, considering the Port interest, unless we promise or something to elevate him.

^ agree mate...Port are making a bit of noise that they are pretty keen on him & had him over for talks and medicals etc...apparently though at this stage he's saying he wants to come to us which is either a) a good sign or b) we're offering overs...either way, agree with dwaino - he's no world beater but would be a definite/solid upgrade on a few of the blokes we've had running through the middle...at the very least pushes for spots, creates depths & gives us another option - we'll make it happen.

No additional players are training with us....

A total of 17 further players across 8 AFL clubs have permission now to train in the lead-up to the pre-season and rookie drafts next month.

Essendon - Anthony Long (Essendon)

You're right WP. Patrick Keane has corrected it although the AFL website still has Blake there.
