Ellis shouldn't be too far away from a Rising Star nomination. Another 19 possies and 5 tackles today and he was named in our bests as well by the media. We could have two nominations in a row.

Was definitely his best game today. Showed poise and discipline.
I'm impressed.

we've done well over the summer with getting Ellis and Morris - two hard nuts that we have lacked for eons!

Did very well today against the big boys. Who said young players picked early can't be thrown into the deep end?
Bring in the big Griff and let's see if he's up to it.

Continues to impress. Will be a long term prospect for the club.

Has poise and skill.

An excellent acquisition to our emerging backline. :thumbsup

Would like to think he moves into the midfield a la Conca as soon as he gets a fitness base and adjusts fully to the tempo of senior footy.

A good solid bounce back game from Ellis after a quiet effort against the Eagles. Surely a Rising Star nomination isn't far away! Another 18 possies today with 7 contested so he's not just a first yearer getting cheapies off HB off the hard work of senior teammates.

Doesn't put his head over it

Thought he was a hard nut but he should been embarrassed by some of his efforts today

I just think that he doesn't quite feel he belongs just yet.  He'll get there - I just think he needs a breakout game.

You reckon Gerks.

I thought he was solid today. Much improved on last week.

Understandable for a kid playing just his 6th AFL game. Still he is clearly pulling his weight out there. A good pick-up at pick 15.

Has clearly outshone a few at the club who have been there for years!

Yeah others had mentioned it over the last few weeks but I hadn't seen it
Kept an eye on him today and he sits back from a lot of 50/50 contests then goes in to tackle or receive
Rest of his game is fine
