Hardwick praised the way McGuane played Thursday night, he won't be dropped!

O'Hanlon needs to get a more cutting edge to his game. Paly harder, tackle harder and compete harder.

Whilst McGuane is doing all of the above and kicking a few goals he might be keeping a few of the younger boys like O'Hanlon out of the side.

While you may be right the list is in better shape and many options are knocking on lucas' door. Or hopefully will be if coburg continue to be victorious.

Agree tucker and hopefully it makes those younger kids more hungry when they step into the side

Ultimately, the harder they have to work and the more consistent their performance has to be to get a game, the better off the club will be.

If you look back to that recent golden era of aussie cricket, besides being blessed with some outright champions, the blokes at shield level just had to keep performing, sometimes over many years, before they got a chance. this sorted out the one hit wonders from those that had what it takes for sustained success.
“For My thoughts are not your thoughts,
Nor are your ways my ways,” says the Lord.

“For as the heavens are higher than the earth,
So are my ways higher than your ways,
And my thoughts than your thoughts."
